Lanny Floyd Atkins, 58 was born to Ernie L. and Bobbie L. Patman Atkins in July 29, 1953 in Searcy, Arkansas and died on March 9, 2012 in Searcy. Lanny loved country music and playing his guitar. He was an avid fan of Johnny Cash.
He is preceded in death by his father and a sister Cathie Covington.
He is survived by his mother Bobbie Patman Atkins, three sisters Marilyn Cooper (Eddie), Marquitta Poe (Len), La Donna Thomas (Allen), three brother Roger Atkins (Diane), Danny Atkins, Mark Atkins (Kym) , nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be Sunday March 11, 2012 from 6-8 PM at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home–Chapel. Funeral Services will be Monday March 12, 2012 at 2 pm at the Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Henderson Cemetery.
