When Eveline Lorana Martin Rainey Fields was born on July 13, 1870, in Ozark, Missouri, her father, John, was 28, and her mother, Permelia, was 23. She married JAMES WELLINGTON FIELDS and they had 18 children together. She also had one daughter from another relationship. She died on June 5, 1941, in Bald Knob, Arkansas, at the age of 70.
