ELKINS — Georgia Roberta King, 77, of Elkins passed away Monday, Jan. 1, 2018, in Springdale. She was born March 7, 1940, in Fayetteville to Johnny and Eula Williford Howard.

Roberta was in the campus dining service at the University of Arkansas for 42 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Elkins. Roberta loved to cook and enjoyed her flower garden.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Reuben Petit and Marion Loyd Howard. She is survived by her children, son, John King of Elkins, daughter, Kimberley Mayer of Muskogee, Okla., and son, Barry King of Bentonville; a brother, Gary Howard; seven grandchildren, Stephen King, Miranda Ludolph, Tanya Hankins, Shane Hankins, Savannah King, Emmitt King and Maceon Reardon; and one great-granddaughter, Lily Ludolph.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at Beard's Chapel. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, at Beard's Chapel with Pastor Rex Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in McCord Cemetery under the direction of Beard's Chapel. Condolences at www.beardsfuneralchapel.com.
