MOUNTAINBURG - William Duane "Billy" Herd, 44, of Mountainburg, died Sunday, May 10, 2015, at Summit Medical Center in Van Buren. He was born May 8, 1971, in Dallas, Texas.
Billy enjoyed outdoor activities and his drywall contracting work.
He is survived by three children; Brittany, Matt, and Megan Herd, all of West Fork; parents, Royce and Loretta Evans of Mountainburg; his mother, Nellie Warren of Ore City, Texas; one brother, Ricky Evans of West Fork; three sisters, Connie Whittenburg of Johnson, Laura Wagner of Monroe, Wash., Rhonda Adkins of Fayetteville; the mother of his children, Andrea Herd of West Fork; and three half-sisters and one half-brother, all of Texas.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 16, at Living Waters Pentecostal Church in Chester. Memorial contributions may be made to William "Billy" Herd Memorial Fund in care of Arvest Bank. Arrangements are with Heritage Funeral Home, online guest book at heritageofnwa.com.
