Obituary:
Karen Beck, 73 of Waldo, Arkansas went to be with Our Lord, to walk and work in His garden on Sunday, July 16, 2017. She was surrounded by her family and those who loved her most.
She was a long time resident of Magnolia and was born on June 8, 1944 in Richwood, West Virginia to the late Orville William Cogar and Thelma Lee (Bashaw) Cogar. She is also preceded in death by a brother Bernice Randall Cogar. She lived life to the fullest, befriended many who came in contact with her, and loved sharing her flowers and plants.
She is survived by her partner Bobby Allen; two sons, Jerry Beck and Todd Beck and his wife Melanie; two wonderful grandchildren Zachary Ty Beck and United States Marine PFC Mikala Nicole Beck; two brothers, William “Bill” Cogar and wife Maureen, John Cogar and wife Patricia; a sister Christina Roberts and husband Rodney; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Mike Launius officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Beck, Todd Beck, Jonathan Cogar, Jared Cogar, Robby Allen, and Michael Allen.
