Goldia Pauline Stewart, 89, of Mt. Vernon, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 27, 2019. She was born September 20, 1930 in Mt. Vernon to the late Jesse Samuel and Zora James Sublett. Pauline was a charter member of Barney Missionary Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother; who loved spending her time with family and friends. Pauline enjoyed cooking for her family, sewing, and playing Skip-Bo. She was always able to fix anything. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Esker, Raymond, and Sherman Sublett, sisters, Eva Wooley and Thelma Roberts, and two great grandsons, Samuel and Jesse English.

Pauline is survived by her husband of 68 years, Robert G. Stewart, son, Alan (Cheryl) Stewart of Damascus, three daughters, Paula (Tommy) Pearce of Mt. Vernon, Robbie (Marty) Phillips of Mt. Vernon, and Tammie (David) Reach of Vilonia, twelve grandchildren, Amanda, Carrie, Kimberly, Courtney, Sidney, Rebecca, Travis, Christy, Eric, Johnathan, Nathaniel, and Jessica, seventeen great grandchildren, two brothers, Vernon (Juanita) Sublett and Samuel Elbert (Johnnie) Sublett, sister in laws, Emma Jean Sublett and Helen Sublett, and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00PM on Monday, September 30, 2019 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier. Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Roller McNutt with Burial following at Crestlawn Memorial Park.

In Lieu of flowers Donations can be made to Barney Missionary Baptist Church at 594 Highway 107 N. Enola, Arkansas, 72047.
