Obituary:
Randy Don Barton, 51 of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away Sunday, August 19, 2007 at Magnolia City Hospital.
He was born May 16, 1956 in Magnolia, Arkansas, was the owner of Southwest Sales, and was an avid sports fan for the Magnolia Panthers, Southern Arkansas University Muleriders, and Arkansas Razorbacks.
Randy has been in the PVC and polyethylene pipe business for the past thirty years and has made many tremendous, caring friends. He has been active on the school board, in booster club and community activities throughout his life and has always enjoyed life.
He is survived by his wife Bonita Hand Barton; one daughter, Lanie Barton; one son, Jason Barton and his wife Kelli and their son Will; parents, Billy and Janell Barton all of Magnolia, Arkansas; one sister, Kim Barient and her husband Brian of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and a grandmother, Thelma Whatley of Magnolia, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be Thursday, August 23, 2007 at 10:00 am at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Pat McDonald officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia. Family visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or Local Hospice Organizations.
Pallbearers will be Bill Talbot, Tommy Watson, Don Gish, Kelly Hand, Brian Barient, Neil Tubb, Dayton Grundy, and Raymond May.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Harry McGee, George Black, Larry Thornton, and Jay Adcox.
