Obituary:
Mary Rebecca Morgan Easterling, age 92, of West Monroe, Louisiana formerly of Ingalls, Arkansas, died Wednesday, December 25, at Glenwood Regional Hospital, West Monroe, La. She was born July 1, 1921 at Ingalls, Arkansas a daughter of the late John Davis Morgan and Stella Harrod Morgan. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She married Turner Easterling on January 12, 1945 at Little Rock, Ark. and he died December 25, 1999. Surviving are 3 sons Jerry D. Easterling, West Monroe, La, Roger Paul Easterling, Farmerville, La. and Turner Gene Easterling, Ruston, La; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter in law Janet Easterling; 2 brothers Charlie Morgan and John Morgan; 2 sisters Flora Vickers and Lillie Mae Best; a grandson Jason Lee Easterling. Funeral services were 3:30pm Sunday, December 29, at Antioch Primitive Baptist Church by Rev. Wayman Mann and Allen Morgan. Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home of Warren. Active pallbearers were Craig Easterling, Jay Easterling, Wayne Wyatt, Thomas Morgan, Allen Morgan and Michel Best. Honorary pallbearers were Gary Max Best and Tommy Best. Memorials preferred to Union Hill Cemetery Fund %Dan Vickers, 119 Bradley 53, Hermitage, Ark 71657-8983.
