Linda Dean Vines Standard, age 84, of Hermitage, AR died Thursday February 8th at her home. She was born April 30th, 1933 in Marsden, AR a daughter of the late Garland Dean and Annie Johnson Dean. She was a housewife, a homemaker and farmer. She loved people and she never met a stranger. She was a lifelong member of the Eagle Lake Crossroads Baptist Church and a graduate of Vick Public Schools. She is also preceded in death by her husbands, Elbert "Hoss" Vines and Sammie L. Standard, brothers Rudy Dean, Charles Dean, Tim Dean, Larry Dean and Johnny Bob Dean. She is survived by sons, Tim Vines and spouse Mary, and Gary Vines and spouse Lanette, all of Hermitage, AR. A daughter, Vickie Reynolds and spouse Joe Dale, Hermitage, AR. A brother Joe Dean and spouse Lucy, Crossett, AR. Sisters Charlotte Ferrell and spouse Charles Edward, Johnsville, AR, Sandra Smith, Warren, AR and Jennifer Harrod and spouse Hugh, Hermitage, AR. 6 grandchildren, Joey Reynolds, Jacob Reynolds, Justin Vines, Cody Vines, Barry Booker and Clint Booker. 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Funeral service was 1:30PM Sunday, February 11th at Frazer's Chapel with Rev. Michael Griffith and Rev. Ricky Smith officiating. Dottie Smith was pianist. Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Joey Reynolds, Jacob Reynolds, Justin Vines, Cody Vines, Barry Booker, Clint Booker, Gary Vines, and Dr. Joe H. Wharton. Honorary pallbearers were Randy Gorman, Norman Carter, Max and Belvie Courtney, Lavosia Veazey, Keith Harrod, Thomas Frazer, Carrol Gene Temple, Bobby Mann, Ben Pool, Mark Hollingsworth, Gifford Godfrey, Eddie Wells, Dale McGinnis, and Rev. Wayman Mann.
