Ronnie D. Jackson, 56, of El Dorado died Saturday, October 27, 2007. Born March 20, 1951, in Crossett to Lyndal Glen "Ed" Jackson, Sr., and Shirley Gifford Jackson, he worked in installation on the service lines at Cox Cablevision. He was a disabled veteran of the U. S. Army and a member of Lapile Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother; his wife, Sharon Jackson of El Dorado; two daughters, Kimberly Jackson of El Dorado and Trisha Jackson of El Dorado; four brothers, Lyndal Glen Jackson, Jr., and wife Ann of Hamburg, Jerry Jackson and wife Judy, of Monroe, LA, Roger Jackson and wife Fannie of El Dorado and Lloyd Jackson of Monticello. Preceding him in death were his father and a brother, Ricky Lynn Jackson.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 31, in Young's Funeral Home chapel in El Dorado with the Rev. Dwain Miller officiating. Burial followed at Union Hill Cemetery. An online guest registry is available at www.youngsfuneralhome.com
