GENTRY — Carlis "Carla" Jane Richardson, 64 of Gentry, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born April 12, 1951 in Searcy, Arkansas to Charles Dean and Winona Martin Feagin. "Carla" worked in Food Services for Springdale Public Schools.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dean Feagin and one brother, Garry Feagin. Survivors include her husband, Sonny Richardson of the home; one son, Doug Richardson of Highfill; one daughter, Gina Richardson of Highfill; two sisters, Barbara Hufford and husband Jerry of Springdale and Terrie Harvey and husband Larry of Lowell; five grandchildren, Candis Jones and husband Taos of Bella Vista, Melody Richardson and Gary Brown of Reno, Nevada, Nicole Moore and Austin Rife of Decatur, Matthew Richardson of Springdale and Dalton Richardson of Highfill; three great-grandchildren, Noah, McKynzie, and Jocelynn.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Mt. Zion Freewill Baptist Church in Burkshed with Rev. Eldon Bagwell officiating. Burial will follow at Burkshed Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale.
