Obituary:
James W. Judkins age 74, of Warren, Ark. died Tuesday, April 10th at the Bradley County Medical Center. He was born June 20, 1932 in Drew Co. Arkansas a son of the late Winthrop Judkins and Virta Jordan Judkins Gifford. He was retired with 29 years of service with Georgia Pacific Extrusion Plant, was a member of Westside Baptist Church and a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. Surviving is his wife Sandra Dean Judkins whom he married on February 3, 1979 at Warren; 2 sons Marty Hayes, Star City, Ark.; and Greg Hayes, Hermitage, Ark; 1 daughter Pam Hayes, Luther, Ok,; 3 brothers Cecil Gifford and Clifton Gifford both of Ft. Hill, Ark. and Wendell Gifford, Austin, Tex; 1 sister Betty Gillingham, Ft. Hill, Ark; 5 grandchildren, Tyler Hayes, Fort Sill, Ok. Bethany Hayes, Warren, Ark; Seth and Lindsey Hayes, Hermitage, Ark. and Katrina Loveless, Star City, Ark. and 4 Great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 2:00pm Friday, April 13, at Frazer's Chapel with Rev. Kenny Worbington, Rev. Mike Griffith, Rev. Gary Carter officiating. Linda Barrett was oraganist, soloist were Rev. Gary Carter and Karen Simmons. Burial with flag presentation ceremony was in Union Hill Cemetery at Ingalls by Frazer's Funeral Home of Warren. Active pallbearers were Clif Gifford, Robert Gifford, Sonny Booth, Eugene Gifford, Harold McManus and Noel Dean McGilton. Honorary pallbearers were Buddy Reaves, Dewayne Ashcraft, Billy Withers, Bill Powell, Billy Hill, Bruce Nelson, Van Temple, Dr. Ken Purvis, Shelby Scott, Billy Riley, Hershel Kelly, Greg Gifford, Harold McKiever, Deacons and men of Westside Baptist Church and hunters of Ashley County and Bradley County.
