Obituary:
Narvil Dwayne Harrod, age 72 of Summit, MS., (formerly of Warren, AR.), died Sunday August 3, at Southwest Medical Regional Center in McComb, MS. Born March 19, 1936 in Bradley County, AR. a son of the late Simmie Edward Harrod and Hattie Mae Rabun Harrod he was a disabled U.S. Air Force veteran serving in Vietnam and a Baptist. Also, preceding him in death was a son Bradford Harrod and sisters Louise Doggett and Alice York Mulligan. Survivors are his wife Patricia Ann Smith Harrod whom he married April 18, 1957. 3 sons Michael Harrod, Muskogee, OK., James Harrod, Summit, MS., Dwayne Harrod, Alexander, AR. 6 daughters Denise Crumble, Jefferson City, MO., Samantha Harrod, Kempner, TX., Evelyn Owen, Summit, MS., Pamala Nichols, Kempner, TX., Monique Stivers, Cabot, AR., Dallas Harrod, Summit, MS. 2 brothers George Harrod, Utah, Rudolph Harrod, Clinton, AR., 4 sisters Clara Mae York, Clarendon, AR., Lucille Hicks, Battle Creek, MI., Lorene Vail, Little Rock, AR., Patricia Mayfield, Cabot, AR., Numerous grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Graveside services were 10:00 a.m. Thursday August 7, in Union Hill Cemetery near Ingalls, AR with Reverend Wayman Mann officiating. Family members were pallbearers. Arrangements by Frazer's Funeral Home of Warren, AR.,
