Obituary:
C.T. "Tommy" Thompson, age 85, of Warren, AR. died Friday September 14, at Bradley County Medical Center. Born May 29, 1922 in Cass County, TX. a son of the late Crayton Theodore Thompson and Ruby Mims Thompson he was a retired civil engineer, World War II Navy veteran and member Union Hill Baptist Church. Also, preceding him in death was a son Larry Wayne Thompson. Survivors are his wife Jewell Dean Johnson Thompson whom he married September 22, 1945. 2 sons Mike Thompson, Tomball, TX., Ricky Thompson, Seville, Spain. 2 daughters Sandra Bryan, West Helena, AR., Brenda Oldham, Endwell, N.Y. 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 2:00 p.m. Sunday September 16, at Union Hill Baptist Church in Ingalls, with Rev. Wayman Mann and Rev. Jerry Hines officiating. Nina Harrod was pianist, soloist were Jerry Vickers, Bernadette Jones and Franklin Stanley played the guitar. Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were John Cates, Drew Thompson, Kim Johnson, Raymond Simmons, Andy Thompson and Monty Johnson.
