Mrs. Lucy Childers, 76, of Hermitage, died Wednesday in the Bradley County Memorial Hospital. She was a Baptist. Survivors include a son, Eurie Childers of Monticello; five daughters, Mrs. Troy Gorman and Mrs. Louis Hamilton of Hermitage, Mrs. Fay Courtney of Ingalls, Mrs. Fred Ramsey of Benton, and Mrs. Warren Bumgardner of Benton; a brother, Luther Cox of Wilmar; 24 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Funeral was Friday at 2 p.m. in Union Hill Church of Ingalls, and burial was in the Union Hill Cemetery by Frazer Funeral Home.
