Hansel Colvin, 82, of Godfrey Place community at Hermitage (Bradley County), died Wednesday at his home.
He was born Nov. 19, 1920, at Eagle Lake (Bradley County), a son of the late Willie Lee "Bill" Colvin and Estelle Rayburn Colvin.
He was a retired construction superintendent, farmer and commercial fisherman of the Saline River. He was a 1939 graduate of Eagle Lake School. He was also a member Lighthouse Church and president and founder of Colvin Hunting Club, established in 1964.
He was preceded in death by two sons, the Rev. Vernon Colvin and Tyrone Colvin; one daughter, Tiny Sue Colvin; and one brother, Edward Colvin.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter; one brother; three sisters; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Lighthouse Church at Warren with the Rev. Vernon Colvin III, the Rev. Kelvin Powers and the Rev. Micheal Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery at Ingalls (Bradley County) by Frazer's Funeral Home of Warren.
