Ruth E. Price, age 92, of McRae, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2005. She was born November 1, 1912, at Hickory Plains, Arkansas to Charles J. and Alice Thornton. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of fifty-two years, Stephen “Bun” Price; two sons, Jimmy and Wayne Price; two brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by two daughters, Betty Colbert and husband Les of Beebe and Naomi Hart and husband Bob of Lonoke; one son, Davy Price and wife Sue of Palestine, Texas; one brother, Bill Thornton of North Little Rock; one sister, Francis Spinelli of North Little Rock; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will begin 10:00 A.M. Friday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe with family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday at Westbrook Funeral Home with burial in Weir Cemetery. Memorials may be made to McRae Church of Christ, McRae, AR 72102.
