Mrs. Bessie Word Perkins, aged 78 died Monday at noon in the Ouachita Hospital. She was a member of the Church of Christ and a well known resident of Camden. She is survived by her husband, M. L. Perkins of Hot Springs; one son, W. H. (Doc) Benson of Camden and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Salem Cemetery.
