Mrs. Harriett Harrell, 71, wife of Harvey H. Harrell of White City died in a local hospital Thursday night. Mrs. Harrell was a native of Calhoun County, but had been living at White City for the past 7 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by five sons, Ewell Harrell and Ray Harrell both of Bearden; Betol and Earl Harrell of Camden, and Haywood Harrell of Locust Bayou; one daughter, Mrs. Harold Chambliss of Monroe, La.; two sisters, Mrs. Ciscero Lindsey of Cullendale, and Mrs. Ray Guido of Long Island, N. Y.; two brothers, William Johnson of Locust Bayou, and Hugh Johnson of Bearden; 16 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the West Washington Street Church of Christ. Burial will be in Salem cemetery by Proctor Funeral Home. Nephews will serve as casket bearers. The body was carried to the home in White City this afternoon where it will remain until funeral time. (Camden News - November 26, 1954)
