November 28, 1938 - June 24, 2019
Franklin Howard Hamilton of Camden, was at home with his loving wife holding his hand when he went home to be with his Lord on June 24, 2019.
He was born to Loyce and Mary Hamilton on November 28,1938. He was retired from Gilchrist Bag Co, after working 40 years. He was an avid member of Eagle Mills Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Loyce and Mary Neal Hamilton, one daughter, Tammy Renee' Dodson, a brother, Dale Hamilton all of Camden, three sisters, Mary Botkins of Centerville, Missouri and Margaret Kelly of Alma, Arkansas and Lurlene Hamilton of Chidester. Also his mother and father in law, Lonnie and Pearl Barham, two brother in laws, Jerry and Jimmy Barham, and four great grand children, all of Camden.
He is survived by his wife, Marcella Jo Hamilton, two daughters, Sandra Stinnett and husband Les of Hallsville Texas, Rita Stinnett and husband Billy of Chidester, two sons, Danny Hamilton and wife Casey, and Gary Hamilton, and wife Pam, son-in-law, Mike Dodson, two brothers, Johnny Hamilton and wife, Joyce and Jimmy Hamilton and wife, Shelia; and sister, Linda Hodnett all of Camden. AR.
He had 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden. Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Eagle Mills Baptist Church, with Reverands Chris Morgan and Jody Tillary officiating. Burial will be at the Little Missouri Cemetery in Chidester
