Bruce Davidson McGill, age 87, of Chidester died Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Ouachita Nursing & Rehab. He was a retired university professor from Southeast Louisiana University in Hammond, LA and a member and elder of Tate’s Bluff Presbyterian Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Nettie Davidson McGill; and brothers, Lovick William “Billy” McGill and Walter G. McGill, Jr. He is survived by his brother, Leighton Robert “Bobby” McGill of Chidester; and a niece, Iva Jan McGill of Bastrop, TX.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Missouri Cemetery near Chidester, AR. Charlotte Cobb, CLP will officiate the service. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
