February 14, 1930 - January 16, 1969
Funeral services for Arthur Lee Stinnett, Jr, 38 of Chidester will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Missouri Methodist Church near Chidester with burial in the church cemetery. Mr. Stinnett died Thursday morning in a Little Rock hospital from injuries recieved in an explosion last month at Camden Manufacturing Company. He was a lifelong resident of Ouachita County. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Myra Davis Stinnett; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Merline Chambliss of Dallas, Texas and Miss Linda Lerline Stinnett of Chidester; one step son, Michael Edward Ashley of Chidester; his parents Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Lee Stinnett of Chidester; four sisters, Mrs. Daisy Burton and Mrs. Betty Kilpatrick of East St. Louis, Illinois and Mrs. Rose Clingan of Little Rock and Mrs. Louise Bussell of Camden and one brother, Richard Stinnett of Little Rock. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (Camden News - January 17, 1969)
