Burial services for Mrs. Mary E. Stinnett, aged 87, were held Tuesday, August 9, at 2 p.m. at the Missouri Church near Chidester. Mrs. Stinnett lived the past few years in Longview, Texas with her daughter, Mrs. Jennie King. Upon her death, she was returned to her old home in Chidester for burial. She was born and reared in Chidester, later moving to Thornton, Ark., and then to Longview. She is survived by many friends and relatives here. (Camden News - August 11, 1949)
