When Hugh Randolph Keller was born on June 13, 1909, in Faulkner, Arkansas, his father, Willis, was 33 and his mother, Lorena, was 32. He married Lola Agnes Woodard on March 1, 1931, in his hometown. They had three children during their marriage. He died on February 17, 1962, in Lonoke, Arkansas, at the age of 52, and was buried in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
