Mary Jane Phillips died on May 23, 1953, in Faulkner, Arkansas, when she was 71 years old.
When Joseph Nelson Clouette was born on April 3, 1875, in Ida Grove, Iowa, his father, Louis, was 30 and his mother, Azora, was 22. He married Mary Jane Phillips in 1895. They had 12 children in 22 years. He died on January 11, 1950, in Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 74.
