James W. “Blue Tick” Green, Sr., 71 of Mayflower, died Feb. 17, 2010 in Little Rock. Born in Ozan, AR he was a son to the late Glad and Leona (Baber) Green. James was a retired ABF Road Driver and was of the Methodist faith. One sister also preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy L. (Jones) Green; a daughter Michelle Partain of OK; one son James W, Green, Jr. of MS; one grandson; one great grandson; two brothers: Joe and Howard Green and a sister Birdie Mae Harris.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Sat. Feb. 20 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with Bro. Gary Hammer officiating. Interment will follow at Mayflower Cemetery with Bart Henderson, Mike Cullum, Butch Gardner, Joe Lacey, John Partain and Josh Probst serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
