Leone Elizabeth Lanier was born on May 12, 1844, in Georgia. She married Augustus McKinney and they had four children together. She then married Elias R Core on August 4, 1879, in Pulaski, Arkansas. She died on July 12, 1906, in Perry, Arkansas, at the age of 62, and was buried in Bigelow, Arkansas.
