Jackie Pesses, 68, of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away on Monday, November 24, 2014 at her home in Magnolia.
She was born on November 16, 1946 in Columbia County, Arkansas to the late E.W. “Shorty” Bagwell and Edna (May) Bagwell. She began employment with Woodward and Kinard Law Firm in 1976 and became the office manager for the firm’s successors Kinard, Crane, Butler and Phillips P.A. where she was employed for 38 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband David Pesses; two sisters, Helen Sprayberry and Betty Sanders; and mother-in-law Clarice Pesses.
Jackie is survived by her children, Joey Pesses and wife Tanya of Shongaloo, Louisiana and Julie Eddy and husband Horace of Magnolia; three grandchildren, Tori and Brock Pesses of Shongaloo, Taylor Eddy of Magnolia; a brother, W.R. John Bagwell and wife Novie of Magnolia; and her sidekick and close friend Sharon Morgan and husband Joe of Magnolia.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Eric Goble officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., in Magnolia.
Visitation with the family will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
