David E. “Davy” Pyle, 48, of Magnolia, AR passed away April 9, 2017, following a lengthy illness, at his home surrounded by his family and friends.
Davy was born on October 2, 1968 in Magnolia, AR. He was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Magnolia High School, Class of 1987, a graduate of Hope Vo-Tech School, and a graduate of Pulaski Vo-Tech School. Davy was a professional truck driver for over 20 years, driving for several national trucking companies, and retired from D and K Trucking. He loved and devoted his time with heavy equipment operations to benefit his church and loved donating his time to build and benefit his church as a whole. He loved hunting and fishing and always tried to help others no matter the situation.
Davy was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ernest and Lexie (Vines) Pyle and maternal grandparents, Basil Ira and Willie Fern (Everett) Taylor.
He is survived by his parents, David and Esther Pyle of Magnolia; mother Ann Taylor Cook of Magnolia; sons, Jacob Earl Pyle of Booneville, AR and Paul Bogues and wife Nicole of Magnolia; daughters, Michelle Bogues Cromeans and husband Bryan of Emerson and April Bogues Dendy and husband Lonnie of Emerson; brothers, Randy Brasher and wife Wendy of Benton, AR, William Matthew Cook of Magnolia, and Wesley Mark Cook of Magnolia; sisters, Rita Ann Pyle of Magnolia and Tina Hardy and husband Steve of Magnolia; a host of grandchildren, one great grandchild, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; former wife and primary caregiver Kathy Pyle of Magnolia, AR, caregiver Miracle Charles of Stamps, AR, and friend Virginia Bourden of Coushatta
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with the deceased’s uncle, Bro. Ira Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia, AR. Visitation will be held Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Cromeans, Michael Haire, Jerry Braley, Shane Freeman, Randy Brasher, and Jacob Pyle. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Bogues and Branden Labue.
The family requests memorials are made to the charity of donor’s choice.
