Willie Mae Risher Martin, 75, of Magnolia, Arkansas died Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at the Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Magnolia. She was born December 6, 1935 in Patmos, Arkansas to the late Carl and Audrey (Powell) Winberry.
Willie Maye retired in 1992 from Amfuel and was a member of the College View Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband and father of her children, Johnny Risher and former husband, Derrel Martin; brother, Donald Winberry; sisters, Bobbie J. Young, Faye Bowen, and Lorraine Gray; and loving friend of 25 years, Robbie Allen Keith.
Survivors are her daughters, Duretha McComb of Magnolia and Kathryn York Gower of Dallas, Texas; son, Johnny Risher of Magnolia; grandchildren, Jake McComb of Magnolia, Jason McComb of Glade, Kansas, Miranda Caswell of Sunnyvale, California, and Staci Risher of Magnolia; great grandchildren, Alex and Nicholas McComb, Jack and Lily Caswell, and Audrea Beavers; sister, Emmalean Lee of Magnolia; and brother, Edward Winberry of Waldo.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 12th at the College View Baptist Church with Bro. Jim Sayers officiating and assisted by Bro. Mike Silvey. Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Chris Lee, James Lee, Kenneth Lee, Rick George, Jason George, and Jason McComb. Honorary pallbearers will be Lamar Lee, Tommy Jackson, Mike Jackson, H.P. Beaver, Larry Parker, and Charles Couch.
