Dwain Dodson, 61, of Magnolia, AR passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019 at his residence.
Dwain was born May 26, 1957 in Hope, AR to the late Joe Dwain and Frances Jane (Powell) Dodson. He was co-owner of Dodson-Tye Machine Works, Inc. and a member of the Rugged Cross Cowboy Church. He enjoyed riding his mule “Molly” and his Harley-Davidson and traveling around Arkansas to watch the chuck wagon races. He loved his wife, his two daughters, and especially his three grandsons.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years Rita Dodson; daughters Ashlee Dodson and Heather Flow and husband Bobby; grandsons Bryce Roberson, Kase Roberson, and Braxton Flow; brother Steve Dodson and wife Marla all of Magnolia; sister Rhonda Colinger and husband Stanley of Lewisville; nephews and nieces Chris Lee of Magnolia, Vanessa Aulds and husband Jordan of Emerson, Braydon Dodson and wife Jenny, Hastin Dodson, and Hunter Dodson all of Magnolia; a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 20, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Rugged Cross Cowboy Church with Bro. Mike Launius officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia. Visitation will be Sunday, May 19 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Rugged Cross Cowboy Church.
Pallbearers will be Steve Dixon, Mark Hartsfield, Greg Dodson, Ronald Munn, Larry Derrick, and Parnell Vann. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Dodson-Tye Machine Works, Inc.
