Ruth (Jean) Herring, 91, of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Magnolia Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on October 25, 1921 to the late Clay Watkins and Floy (Norman) Coleman and was a longtime member of Central Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; beloved brother-in-law and sister Oris and Iris Lindsey of Waldo.
She is survived by her three children, Paul Herring of Waldo, Janet Street Richards and Donna Herring Eades both of Magnolia; her grandchildren, Russell Herring and Michael Herring of Waldo, Aaron Street and Cameron Eades of Magnolia, Kim Herring Lott and Bridget Herring Lowe of Waldo, Lori Street Robinson of Batesville, and Candice Eades of Magnolia; her children’s father, Melvin B. Herring of Magnolia and many great-great grandchildren, and a host of other extended family members.
Visitation with the family will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at at Lewis Funeral Home with a service to begin at 2 p.m. with Bro. Steve Ford officiating.
