Lemma B. Lafever, 82, of Conway passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2008.
Born in Dripping Springs, Tennessee on November 28, 1925, she was a daughter to the late William B. and Ruth M. (Sapps) Cox.
Lemma was a loving mother and grandmother, a member of the First Baptist Church in Vilonia. A Navy wife who traveled the world with her late husband and volunteered at many of the hospitals at naval bases where they were stationed. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Jesse H. Lafever, three brothers: Lloyd Cox, Hollis Cox and Buddy Cox and three sisters: Bea Harveson, Helen Rainey and Nila Lyn.
Survivors include her son Michael Lafever of Wooster, AR; her daughter Susan Stovall of Arlington, TX; four grandchildren: Brandi Logan (Rusty) of Greenbrier, AR, Kel Clarke of Conway, AR, and Chris Stovall (Lydia) and Jessica Stovall of Arlington, TX; three great-grandchildren Jordon and Josie Logan of Greenbrier, AR and Isaiah Stovall of Arlington, TX. Survivors also include a sister: Alice Morton; special friends Jim and Ann Clarke of Conway, AR and numerous nieces, nephews and friends
The family would like to send special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at CARTI in Conway, for all the love and care given to Lemma.
A graveside service under the direction of Roller McNutt Funeral Home will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, February 24, 2008 at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway with Bro. John Hambie officiating. Jim Clarke, Kel Clarke, Rusty Logan, Jordan Logan, David Stovall and Chris Stovall will serve as pallbearers. On line guest book: www.rollerfuneralhomes.com
