Bobby Joe Edington. 61 of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away Monday, February 25, 2008 at Magnolia City Hospital.
He was born September 6, 1946 in McNeil, Arkansas to the late Calvin Columbus "C.C." and Mary Georgia (Campbell) Edington. He served in the Unites States Army Reserves and was a member of Victory Baptist Church. He was the Co-Owner of Edington Brothers Construction Company and a self-employed poultry farmer.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, JoAnn Huffman.
He is survived by his wife Brenda Dyson Edington of Magnolia, Arkansas; one son, Bradley C. Edington of North Little Rock, Arkansas; one brother, John Paul Edington and wife Lou of McNeil, Arkansas; brother-in-law, Wayne Huffman of McNeil, Arkansas; one nephew, Todd Huffman of McNeil, Arkansas; and one niece, Amanda Warren of Magnolia, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Lonnie Warren officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia. Family visitation will be Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Victory Baptist Church or to the charity of the donor's choice.
Pallbearers will be Todd Huffman, Billy Paul Dodson, John Blair, Sammy Brazell, Burnie Sharp, and Lee Branch.
