Violet Eads, 86, of Magnolia passed away Monday, February 18, 2019 at Wentworth Place.
Violet was born on May 18, 1931 in Fresno, CA to the late Roswell and Marge (Tharpe) Maddox. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. She started volunteering in 1987 with the Magnolia Hospital Auxiliary Pink Ladies and retired in 2012 with 3,815 hours of service.


Violet was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vernal Dale Eads; daughter, Jeannie Scharer; and son-in-law, John E. “Buddy” Miller.
She is survived by her children, Linda Ferrell and husband Steve of Stephens, Shirley Jones and husband Tommy of Sparkman, Jerry Scharer of Monticello, David Eads and wife Sherry of Beebe, Cathy Miller of Magnolia, and Tommy Eads of Franklin, LA; grandchildren, Kevin Ferrell of Fayetteville, Eric Ferrell and fiancé Monica of Magnolia, Greg Jones and wife Angela of Sparkman, Jason Jones and wife Sherri of Winnie, TX, Alicia Keeling and husband Jeremy of Arkadelphia, Hunter Eads and wife Erin of College Station, TX, Courtney Mitchell and husband Tyler of Searcy, Nathan Yingling, Brittani Walser and husband Eric of Oklahoma, Tammy Miller of Magnolia, and Angela Eads of Franklin, LA; 13 great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.


Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2019 at the Central Baptist Church with Bro. Steve Ford officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Central Baptist Church, 207 West Union, Magnolia, AR 71753 or First Baptist Church, 223 West Ruby St., Stephens, AR 71764.
