Danny Ray Morgan, 61, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He ultimately lost his battle from the after effects of lung cancer and COPD.
Danny is proceeded in death by both his parents Delbert Lee Morgan & Elwanda Aileen (Davis) and two sisters, Carol Sumpter & Wanda Ramsey. He was a parent to 4 children; Brian, Brandon, Kelly & Kim. He was a proud Grandpa to 10 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren.
Danny was born on October 31st, 1957. He was a lifelong resident of the Sandusky / Colcord area in Oklahoma. He graduated from Colcord High School. He spent many years on his parents farm as both a child & adult, this was by far the place he was the happiest in life. He had a passion for his family, his most prideful possessions are those small tokens of memories from over the years, that are shown pridefully thru out his home.
His hobbies included anything related to fast cars. He explored different trades thru out his career but most enjoyed his time behind the wheel of a truck. His last place of employment was at Pipelife in Siloam Springs, AR. He greatly enjoyed his time while employed there and made numerous lifelong friends.
Danny was a member of the Colcord Church of Christ.
His strong spirit will be greatly missed by many.
Graveside Service 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2018 at Dickson Cemetery in Cherokee City, Arkansas. Mike Ellis officiating.
