Carol Bell Harmon was born on November 11, 1916, in Arkansas, the daughter of Eula and Ernest. She married Claud Dycus on August 23, 1932. They had seven children in 15 years. She died on October 12, 2002, at the age of 85, and was buried in Mayflower, Arkansas.

Carol B. Dycus, 85 of Mayflower, died Saturday (Oct. 12, 2002) at Conway Regional Medical Center.
Born Nov. 11, 1916 in Bee Branch, a daughter of the late Ernest and Eula York Harmon, she was a retired nurse's aide from Conway Regional Medical Center and a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Mayflower.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Claud M. Dycus, a son, Robert "Bud" Dycus, two sisters and a brother.
She is survived by three daughters, Faye Mitchell of Little Rock, Corene Glenn of Conway and Barbara Everett of Greenbrier; three sons, Dwayne Dycus of Magnolia, Tommy Dycus of Mayflower and Jerry Dycus of Bigelow; four sisters, Earnestine Higgs of Mayflower, Shirley Evans of Mayflower, Betty Rhoades of Leslie and Demzel Meeks of Morrilton; 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, with Jeris Tubb and Buryl Dycus officiating. Burial will be in Mayflower Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Theodore Dycus, Doyle Dycus, Terry Long, James Dycus, Donald Riggins and Jimmy Raney.
