LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Little Rock police are investigating the death of a man who died in an apparent industrial accident while doing work on a house in west Little Rock.
Police said 25-year-old Derrick Bradley of Conway was doing siding work Thursday afternoon at a home in the St. Charles neighborhood. Bradley's co-worker told police that Bradley was moving a 30-foot extension ladder when it tipped back on him and struck nearby power lines.
The co-worker said Bradley fell to the ground. The homeowner reported hearing a popping noise. Bradley was pronounced dead at Baptist Hospital.
Police said Entergy crews arrived and disconnected the electricity before the ladder was moved.
