Darin Travis Kight, 48 of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away Monday, July 26, 2010 at the Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Magnolia.
He was born on February 9, 1962 in Magnolia. He was a member of the College View Baptist Church and enjoyed writing and drawing. Darin was dependable, selfless, compassionate, loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, and was a wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend.
He is preceded in death by his father, Tom Kight, and his grandmother, Eunice Hinson.
Darin is survived by his mother, Peggy Kight; two sisters, Holly Duke, Vicki Dennis and her husband Larry; four nephews, Hayden Collier, Riley Duke, Lane Duke, and Joey Dennis and his wife Tamara and their children, Stone and Leiahna, all of Magnolia, Arkansas; four nieces, Lacey Collier, Karleigh Duke both of Magnolia, Angie Taber and her husband Mike and their children, Haley and Hanna Taber, all of Van Buren, Arkansas, Amy Hart of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and a loving neighbor and dear friend, Geneva Rickert.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, July 29, 2010 at College View Baptist Church with Bro. Jim Sayers and Bro. Lynn Green officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association National Center, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75231.
Pallbearers will be Hayden Collier, Jerry Stamps, Stephen Stamps, John Manion, Brandon Rickert and Jonathan Rickert. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Collier and Kenneth Warner.
