Derek White, age 60, of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away on July 15, 2017 at Arkansas Hospice in Little Rock, Arkansas. Derek had an unconditional love for his family, especially his children & grandchildren, coaching, the Razorbacks, Elvis Presley, his church and his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Derek was born October 2, 1956 in Magnolia, Arkansas to the late Billy Wayne “Rocky” White and Bettye Lou (Cox) White. He was a member of Antioch East Baptist Church.
Derek is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Regeana White Davis.
Derek is survived by his son, Jeff White of Magnolia; daughters, Melissa Franks and husband Jeremy of Benton, Arkansas and Ashley White of Magnolia; and children Wyatt and Gracie White of West Jefferson, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Christian and Caleb White of Star City, Arkansas and Kamryn and Bentley Franks of Benton, Arkansas; brother, Chris White and wife Tina of Magnolia; brother-in-law, Bubba Davis of Magnolia; half-sister, Gail Robinson & husband Ben Earl of Houston, TX; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, July 18 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, July 19 at 2:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ron Owen officiating with burial following at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Blake White, Brandon White, Peyton Campbell, Bubba Davis, Corky Prince, Richard White, and William Murphy.
