FAYETTEVILLE — Gary Wayne Morton, 59, of Fayetteville, died March 3, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice. He was born Sept. 16, 1953, in Springdale to Jack Morton and Vernell Gibbs Morton.

He was an audio technician for Barkin Dog. Gary enjoyed his many pets throughout the years as well as his family. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Vietnam.

He is survived by his mother, Vernell Morton of Springdale; his companion of 35 years, Debi Lambeth of Fayetteville; stepmother, Gay Morton of Berryville; two uncles; four aunts; and several cousins and many friends.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with the Rev. Paul Payne officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday.

SPRINGDALE — Vernell Morton, 82, passed away April 2, in Springdale. She was born Dec. 31, 1934, in Kingston, Ark., to Jess and Sarah Tucker Gibbs. She attended Westside Freewill Baptist Church of Springdale.

Vernell worked at Walmart before retiring. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed shopping and going to the casino. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Gary Morton, and her sister Juanita Bohannan.

Survivors include Anna Allene Hollingsworth, Shanna Amos, Whitney Raley, Taylor Drake, Colby Drake, Reagan Amos, Ayden Raley, and Pasley Amos; one sister Oneta Miller of Sonora.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 7 starting at 2 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale with Rev. Paul Payne officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery.
