SUMMERS — Argle Joe Smith, 77, of Summers died March 8, 2005, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born May 7, 1927, in Springdale to Calvin and Lillie Wilbanks Smith. He retired from Frito-Lay in 1983 after 22 years of employment.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Mary Sue Smith of the home; one son, Rick Smith of Siloam Springs; one brother, Dude Smith of Prairie Grove; one sister, Clara Mayes of Renton, Wash.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove with Jack Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery at Cincinnati.
Pallbearers will be Phil Pearson, Joey Barnes, Frankie Ditmars, Jon Johnson, Harold Peoples and Jim Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be Delmer Smith, Carter Smith, J.D. Johnson, Jack Curtsinger, Monroe Young and G.C. Watson.

SUMMERS — Mary Sue Smith, 70, of Summers died June 21, 2006, in Springdale. She was born Sept. 25, 1935, in Cincinnati to Joe and Katherine May Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Smith.
Survivors include one son, Rick Smith and wife Darla of Colcord, Okla.; two brothers, Delmer Smith and Carter Smith, both of Cincinnati; two sisters, Shirley Johnson of Wedington and Margaret Wood of Westville, Okla.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove with Jack Thompson and Andy Newbill officiating.
Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery at Cincinnati.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home; online at www.luginbuel.com.
Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, 72762.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Cantrell, Jim Smith, Jon Johnson, Joey Barnes, Phil Pearson and Frankie Ditmars.
