Jackie Eugene West, age 79, of Warren, AR, died Tuesday, December 20, at his home. Born November 25, 1937, in Warren, AR, a son of the late Vernon West and Thelma Clary West he was retired from Potlatch Corporation and Warren Printing Company. Jackie was a member, Deacon and Sunday School Teacher at Immanuel Baptist Church, Past Patron Warren Chapter # 3, O.E.S. and a 1956 graduate of Warren High School. Also preceding him in death were brothers Jimmy West, Wayne West and a sister Linda West Harton Thompson. Survivors are his wife June Doggett West whom he married September 11, 1960. One son Randel Alvin West and spouse Sandra of Abilene, TX. One daughter Eugenia Carol West Robbins of Warren, AR. Two sisters Sandra Johnson and spouse Ernest and DeRay McClain and spouse Mack all of Warren, AR. Four grandchildren Aaron Michael Robbins and spouse Bethany of Warren, AR, Zane Derick Robbins of Little Rock, AR, Jeanette Ashley West of Abilene, TX, and Justin Cole West of Langley AFB, VA. One great-grandchild Selene Brenner of Abilene, TX. Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, at Frazer's Chapel Rev. Matt Overall and Rev. T.J. Files officiating. Janice Sullivan is organist and Tim West and Jerry West will sing. Burial is in Pleasant Valley Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Visitation 12:30 p.m. until service time Wednesday, December 28, at Frazer's. Active pallbearers are Larry Kimbrell, Abner Pevey, Mike Lathan, Lathan Hairston, Charles Jones, Bro. Charles Woolly and Terry Young. Honorary pallbearers are Matthew Pennington, Charles O'Neal, Greg Harton, Toney Johnson, Michael McClain, Tracy McClain, Wade McClain, Mark West and Billy J. Jones. Memorials preferred to Immanuel Baptist Church, 701 W. Pine St., Warren, AR, 71671.
