SPRINGDALE - Michelle Thomas, 42, of Springdale died Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, in Fayetteville surrounded by her loving family. She was born Feb. 20, 1973, at Eglin AFB, Fla., to Thomas Michael and Cathi Baker Petrey.
Michelle was preceded in death by a son, Michael K. Wilson.
She is survived by a daughter, Katie Keown and husband, Kevin; grandson, Fisher Keown and another grandson on the way (Kane); her mother, Cathi Martin and stepfather, Dale; grandmother, Cathy Bullard; a sister, Misti Taylor and husband, Adam; three nieces, Mekenna, Myia and Maddey Taylor; her uncle, Herb Baker and wife, Maryann; a cousin, Candi Eskew and husband, Chad; and a host of extended family and friends that love her dearly.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, at Christian Life Cathedral in Fayetteville with the Rev. Daniel Craig and the Rev. Heath Bryant officiating. Interment will follow in McCord Cemetery under the direction of Beard's Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016, at Beard's Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Cancer Resources, 8535 W. Sunset Ave., Springdale, Ark., 72762 in her name. Condolences at www.beardsfuneralchapel.com.
