Winfred Duwell "Slim" Greenwood, age 81, of Warren, AR. died Friday December 15, at Bradley County Medical Center in Warren, AR. Born June 8, 1925 in Bradley County, AR. a son of the late John Franklin Greenwood and Myrtle Moseley Greenwood he was a retired farmer, member and deacon Farmville Missionary Baptist Church, a World War II Navy veteran and the widower of Emily Sue Jenkins Greenwood who died August 10, 2006. They were united in marriage October 25, 1946. Also, preceding him in death were brothers Raymond Greenwood, Herman Greenwood, Olen Greenwood and Hurley Greenwood. Survivors are 3 sons Richard Greenwood and spouse Lucretia of Warren, AR. Terry Greenwood and spouse Linda of Hamburg, AR. John Greenwood and spouse Vanda of Warren, AR. 1 daughter Tracy Rice and spouse Randy of Warren, AR. 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 1:30 p.m. Sunday December 17, Frazer's Chapel with Rev. Joe McClellan and Rev. Bill Gardner officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist soloist were Marlin and Donna Raines. Burial with flag presentation was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Jason Greenwood, John Michael Greenwood, Steven Rice, Lynwood Dees, Carlton Guess and Scott Greenwood.
