Burnice Hagood Bryant age 91, of Warren, AR died Thursday, February 5th at the Woods Nursing Center in Monticello, AR. She was born December 9th, 1923 in Bradley County, AR a daughter of the late Oscar Hagood and Dewey York Hagood. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Free Will Baptist Church, she retired from the Hermitage Public Schools working in the lunch room, loved being a seamstress and quilting, as well as being a housewife and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband W.A. Bryant, a daughter Glenda Sherion, a brother Ellis Hagood, a sister Jewell Dean Nichols and a grandson Bill Murphy. She is survived by 2 sons Donny Bryant and spouse Kathy, Wellington, Kansas, and Mark Bryant, Tucson, Arizonia. A daughter Carol Murphy and spouse John, Warren, AR. 3 grandchildren Patricia Wilkinson, Andrew Bryant and Robert Murphy. 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 10:00AM Monday, February 9th at Pleasant Valley Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Crews officiating. Musicians were Jamie Weaver, Kathy Williams and Phyllis Williams. Burial was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Robert Murphy, Shannon Wilkinson, Andy Bryant, Slade Wilkinson, Gary Smith and Bobby Weaver. Honorary pallbearers were Adult Sunday School Class at Pleasant Valley Free Will Baptist Church Memorials preferred to the Pleasant Valley Cemetery Assoc. C/O James Doggett.
