Yvonne Parnell Adams, age 80, of Warren, AR, died Saturday, May 4, at Belle View Estates in Monticello, AR. She was born July 14, 1938, in Warren, AR, a daughter of the late Troy Parnell and Faye Cooper Parnell. Yvonne was retired from Jack Winter, LaDonna’s and was a member of Pleasant Valley Free Will Baptist Church. She was the widow of Charles E. Adams who died November 12, 2005. They were united in marriage June 2, 1956. Survivors are two sons Ricky Adams and Jeff Adams (Leslie), all of Warren, AR. One brother Dean Parnell of Camden, AR. One sister Amy Williams of Warren, AR. Two grandchildren Logan Adams and Gracie Adams both of Warren, AR. Funeral service was 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Garrett and Rev. Reuel Cruce officiating. Linda Barrett was organist and music was by Logan Adams, Tonya Smith, and Jamie Weaver. Burial was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Eric Parnell, Kenny Adams, Jeffrey McGaha, Gary Smith, Stacy Scroggins, and Bobby Weaver. Honorary pallbearers were James Doggett, David Slocum, Dr. Kerry Pennington, Dr. Joe H. Wharton, Charles Doggett, Robert Scroggins, and John Murphy. Memorials are preferred to Pleasant Valley Free Will Baptist Church, 552 Highway 8 North, Warren, AR, 71671.
