Charles E. Adams, age 70, of Warren died Saturday November 12, at W.P.N.H. Born February 15, 1935 in Warren, AR. a son of the late Shelton Adams and Eva Flippo Adams he was retired from Potlatch Corporation, a U.S. Army veteran, served in the National Guard and was a member Pleasant Valley Freewill Baptist Church. Also, preceding him in death was a brother Jimmy Adams. Survivors are his wife Yvonne Parnell Adams whom he married June 2, 1956 in Warren, AR. 2 sons Ricky Adams, Jeff Adams and spouse Leslie all of Warren, AR. 3 brothers Meade Adams of Monticello, AR., Junior Adams of Crossett, AR., Johnny Bob Adams of Rogers, AR. 4 sisters Louise Clemons of Monticello, AR., Mary Summers of Chidester, AR., Catherine Pennington of Texas and Ida Greenwood of White Hall, AR., 2 grandchildren Logan Adams and Gracie Adams both of Warren, AR. Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. Monday November 14, at Frazer's Chapel with Rev. James Florence and Rev. Ronald Neely officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist and soloist were April Doggett, Kevin Doggett, Tonya Smith and Jamie Weaver. Burial was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery near Warren by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Charles Doggett, James Doggett, Robert Scroggins, Dean Parnell, Robert Murphy and John Murphy. Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Williams, Cecil Thompson, J.G. Howsen, Dr. Kerry Pennington, Dr. Joe H. Wharton, Karen Richardson and Tyson Thompson.
