Arthur "Buddy" Weaver, age 85, of Warren, Arkansas died Sunday, July 15, at home. He was born February 27, 1927 in Cleveland County, Arkansas a son of the late Edgar Weaver and Mary Dyer Weaver. He served in the Arkansas National Guard, was a member of Pleasant Valley Freewill Baptist Church and was a retired road sweeper operator for Potlatch Corp. Surviving is his wife Martha Bess Williams Weaver whom he married on November 12, 1960; 2 sons Dale Weaver, Hampton, Ark. and Kerry Weaver and spouse Sara, Warren, Ark; 3 daughters Kay Weaver Robinson and spouse Harold, Patsy Weaver Watson and spouse Don, and Martha Ann Weaver Taylor and spouse Michael all of Warren, Ark; 1 brother Lloyd Weaver, Warren, Ark; 1 sister Bernice Stucks, El Dorado, Ark; 14 grandchildren Kerry Wayne Weaver, Larry Don Watson, Drew Robinson, Adam Weaver, Daniel Robinson, Kristin Ann Briant, Haley Taylor, James Dale Weaver, Wanda Gail Cross, Eva Weaver, Christopher Weaver, Jennifer Weaver, Amanda Weaver, Ashley Weaver, and numerous great-grandchildren. A special care giver Carolyn Thomas. He was also preceded in death by a son Carl Ladane Weaver, 5 brothers J. D. Weaver, Clifton Weaver, James Weaver, Edward Weaver and Pete Weaver and 2 sisters Amy Nell Ferrell and Lula Bowen and 2 grandchildren William Andrew Robinson and Matthew Wayne Robinson. Funeral services were 2:00pm Tuesday, July 17, at Frazer's Chapel with Rev. Larry Doggett and Billy Ray Williams officiating. Linda Barrett was organist. Burial was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery near Warren. Active pallbearers were Larry Watson, Kerry Wayne Weaver, Adam Weaver, Drew Robinson, Daniel Robinson and Jeremy Briant. Honorary pallbearers Dr. Kerry Pennington, Dr. Dennis Jacks, Rayburn Taylor, Bill Watson, Dr. Springs and Dr. Stacks.
