HUNTSVILLE — Howard Lee Woodward, 76, of Huntsville died Feb. 15, 2011, at Circle of Life Hospice House in Springdale. He was born March 1, 1934, in Drakes Creek to Elmer Marion and Floria Irene Lawson Woodward.
He was an Army veteran and retired from the University of Arkansas custodial department.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Maxine Dies Woodward; a son, Russell Lee Woodward; a daughter, Janette Sue McNew and husband Mark of Mountain Home; and a sister, Janice Sue Moore of Huntsville.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville. Burial it be in the Bohannon Cemetery.
